Why pellet mill pressure rollers are abnormally worn

 

Pressure roller is one of the important parts and fragile parts of the pellet machine, which is used together with the ring die, and both of them squeeze the raw material to make the material form. After a period of time, due to the strong friction and extrusion between the material and the inner surface of the ring die, the outer surface of the pressure roller will be seriously worn out, which will lead to the failure of normal operation.
  At present, the loss ratio of ring die and pressure roller is about 1:2, if your pressure roller wears too fast, it belongs to the abnormal wear of pellet machine pressure roller, you need to check whether there are the following reasons:
  1, pits and scratches on the surface of the pressure roller. Due to sand, iron chips and other hard impurities on the pressure roller wear, belong to the abnormal wear. It is recommended that the raw material crushed before the addition of impurity removal process, the raw material mixed sand, iron filings, etc. to remove clean, can be set up in the pellet machine feed inlet again to remove iron and other removal devices.
  2, the material is unevenly distributed before entering the compression zone. The material is fed into the studio from the side of the pressure roller surface, and the homogeniser does not have time to distribute the material evenly before it is pressed into the hole of the ring mould, resulting in a thicker material on one side, aggravating the wear and tear of the pressure roller. It is recommended to change the shape or installation position of the scraper, or additional screed roller, so that the material is evenly distributed in the pressing room.
  3、Materials in the extrusion at the same time biased towards both sides. It is recommended to use different pressure roller shells for different materials.
4、No regular quantitative to the pressure roller to add grease, pressure roller bearings only after sufficient lubrication to achieve the ideal working condition.
  5, no timely adjustment of the pressure roller and ring die clearance. Generally 0.2-0.5mm, the absolute value of the gap can not be greater than 0.5mm, otherwise it will directly affect the yield and product quality, if the gap is less than 0.1mm, it will accelerate the wear of the pressure roller and the ring die, but also affect the yield.
  6, the sealing cover at both ends of the pellet mill pressure roller is seriously worn. It is recommended to replace the sealing cover with a new one.
  7、No pressure roller has been removed for a long time. The lower plate part of the pressure roller and the front part of the main shaft are rusty, so the friction becomes bigger, it is recommended to lubricate it with waste engine oil and try to turn it again.
