Six Steps to Use the Hammer Mill Correctly
1.Hammer Mill and power unit shall be firmly installed. If the crusher is fixed for a long time, it shall be fixed on the cement foundation; If the pulverizer is mobile operation, the unit shall be installed on the base made of angle iron, and the belt pulley groove of the power machine (diesel engine or motor) and the pulverizer shall be at the same turning plane.
2. After the installation of the crusher, check the fastening of all fasteners, and tighten them if they are loose. At the same time, check whether the belt tightness is appropriate.
3. Before starting the pulverizer, rotate the rotor by hand to check whether the claw, hammer and rotor operate flexibly and reliably, whether there is collision in the shell, whether the rotation direction of the rotor is consistent with the direction indicated by the machine arrow, and whether the power machine and the pulverizer are well lubricated.
4. Do not replace the belt pulley at will to prevent explosion of the crushing chamber due to too high rotating speed, or affect the working efficiency of the crusher due to too low rotating speed.
5. After the pulverizer is started, it shall be idling for 2~3min, and feeding shall be carried out after there is no abnormal phenomenon.
6. Pay attention to the operation of the crusher at any time during the work. The feeding shall be even to prevent blocking and stuffiness. Do not overload for a long time. In case of vibration, noise, excessive temperature of bearing and machine body, and material spraying, stop the machine immediately for inspection, and continue to work after troubleshooting
