3. Install the new oil seal
1. Apply a fine layer of lubricating oil to the shaft surface and inner hole to prevent wear and burns on the new oil seal and shaft surface;
2. Install the new oil seal in the correct direction, making sure it fits tightly against the shaft surface without signs of rotation or misalignment;
3. Gently tap the new oil seal with a hammer until it fits perfectly with the shaft surface. Be careful not to over-hit the new oil seal to avoid damaging its structure;
4. Reinstall the shaft into the pellet machine equipment and check in reverse whether all disassembled parts and pipes are properly connected.

4. Tips to avoid damaging the new oil seal
1. Install all parts strictly in accordance with the specified tightening torque;
2. Use washers (such as concentric circles with the same outer diameter) to protect the new oil seal from dust, sand and other impurities;
3. Reserve a period of time before operation. Under normal load, slowly rotate the shaft to pad the new oil seal, and check for any oil leakage or oil seepage, which needs to be readjusted.
