Can aflatoxin in peanut oil be removed by oil extraction equipment?

Peanuts contain 40% to 50% oil, which has high nutritional value. Therefore, peanut oil can often be seen on the daily table. So the oil pressing equipment can remove aflatoxin in peanut oil, here we look at it together.

First, peanut oil pressing process

Peanut oil pressing process is through the shelling machine, washing machine, magnetic separator and other equipment to shell peanuts, separated from the solid impurities contained in the peanuts. The cleaned peanuts are sent to the frying pan for steaming and stir-frying, so that the aroma of the peanuts is emitted, while accelerating the movement of the oil molecules in the oil. The processed peanuts are sent to the oil press to extract the peanut oil, and the oil is filtered and refined to get the finished oil.

Second, high temperature can eliminate aflatoxin

Peanuts are relatively easy to harbor aflatoxin. In the long-term storage process, a large number of aflatoxins will grow rapidly. In the peanut pressing process, aflatoxin will not be destroyed. Aflatoxin can exist at high temperatures, so the aflatoxin in peanut oil is not broken down during cooking. The presence of aflatoxin can cause many kinds of harm to human body, so it is necessary to control the content of aflatoxin in peanut oil.

Although it is difficult to separate aflatoxin in the new peanut oil press, the oil factory can take some other measures to avoid aflatoxin in the oil and grease, so as to produce healthy and nutritious peanut oil.

Third, how to avoid aflatoxin in peanut oil

(1) regular inspection and cleanup of spoiled peanuts

Peanuts should be checked regularly during storage. Peanuts found to be moldy should be dealt with in a timely manner. Separate poor-quality peanuts from high-quality peanuts to avoid more peanuts getting moldy, so as to avoid aflatoxin in peanut oil.

2) Maintain a low oxygen environment

Aspergillus flavus is a kind of aerobic bacteria. When the concentration of carbon dioxide is 80%, nitrogen is 19% and oxygen is 1%, the production of aflatoxin can be reduced. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the oxygen concentration in the warehouse. At the same time, people can choose composite polyethylene film bags with low density, poor crystallinity, good chemical stability and good electrical insulation. Waterproof and breathable, storing peanuts can reduce the production of aflatoxin.

3) Control the quality of peanut raw materials

If the peanuts are collected from the market, they should be carefully screened, and the peanuts with uniform particles and fresh and mold-free peanuts should be selected for pressing, so that the quality of peanut oil can be guaranteed from the source. If the conditions allow, you can grow peanuts by yourself, then you can choose a non-polluted area, choose the soil rich in nutrients and good permeability to plant, so as to obtain high-quality peanut oil.

4) Ensure good storage conditions

Peanut storage can use underground storage and low temperature storage technology, reduce the humidity and temperature of the warehouse, and keep the environment dry. The relative humidity of the warehouse should be below 80%. If the humidity is relatively high, desiccant can be used to reduce the humidity. Considering the heat generated by the respiration of peanuts in the storage process, peanut storage should leave enough space for heat dissipation.

(5) control peanut storage humidity

When the moisture content of peanuts is 10% to 15%, Aspergillus flavus can grow rapidly. Therefore, when the peanuts are ripe, pay attention to the moisture of the peanuts in the storage, keep the peanut moisture within 10%, which can avoid the production of aflatoxin.
