Chipper is one of the commonly used woodworking machines. It can break logs into pieces of certain specifications for easy processing and use. During the working process, the intermittent crushing, the discontinuity of chipper crushing and feeding, and the change of instantaneous cutting section will cause power changes.
The diameter of the wood raw material should be kept as uniform as possible. Too thick raw wood crusher material will not be fed smoothly. If the raw material is too thin, it will also reduce the production efficiency of the equipment if the feeding cannot keep up. Excessive curvature of the wood will reduce the feeding speed. Therefore, we can treat the wood with excessive curvature before feeding to reduce the curvature so that the chipper can eat better.
The moisture content of the wood cannot be too high. The wood material with high moisture content enters the crushing chamber. The chipper breaks the water-containing material into small pieces, which are sticky and stuck between the two jaws in the crushing chamber, causing material clamping, which directly affects the output of the chipper. It is recommended that the raw wood be cut and dried for 3-7 days before being processed by the chipper. The crushed wood should not be mixed with impurities such as iron wire, nails, and stones.
