Safety operating procedures for chippers
1. Before the chipper is working, carefully check the lubrication of each component and whether the safety devices of each part are fully reliable, otherwise it cannot operate.
2. Place the prepared materials in the chipper area for chipping.
3. The machine tool should be kept clean, the safety devices of the rotating parts should be complete, reliable, and the grounding wire should be good. The screws, nuts and fasteners of each part should not be loose, and it is forbidden to put sundries on the tool table.
4. Turn on the power switch to start the equipment during work. After the machine runs normally, adjust the settings according to the thickness of the planer to be processed to meet production requirements.
5. The fire-fighting equipment in the wood storage and processing sites must be complete, reliable and easy to use. Open flames and smoking are not allowed in the workplace. Flammable materials and oil cotton yarn should not be placed near the wood. The wood in each place should be stacked neatly and should not affect the smooth flow of roads to ensure safety.
6. If the chipper encounters a jam, press the reverse button to allow the jammed material to exit. The machine should be stopped first when cleaning up the wood chips.
