Working principle of straw granulator
During the processing of materials, it is not necessary to add any additives or adhesives. Straw and other materials contain a certain amount of cellulose and lignin. Its lignin is a structural monomer in the materials, and it is a phenylpropane type polymer compound. It can strengthen cell wall and bind cellulose. Lignin is non crystalline, and its main part is insoluble in any solvent at room temperature. It has no melting point but softening point. When the temperature reaches a certain value, the softening adhesive force of lignin increases, and under a certain pressure, the cellulose molecular groups are dislocated, deformed, and extended, and the adjacent biomass particles in the interior engage with each other, reassemble and press to shape.
