What are the requirements of pellet mill for raw materials?
The compatibility of biomass pellet machine for raw materials is high, crop straw, such as rice husk, wheat, peanuts, corn, rice and other straw suitable for pellet machine processing production. Raw materials have but generally can not be directly into the machine processing production, because the collection of straw generally contain high moisture, the finished product after processing high humidity, not easy to burn. Customers can choose to dry the straw and send it to the pellet mill for processing, or use drying equipment to dry the material to a moisture content of 8-12%.
In order to produce high-quality pellets, we have to have higher requirements for the pellet machine, the pellet machine is specialized in processing pellets, and there are requirements for equipment to process raw materials. From the understanding of the type of equipment, we all know that there are many kinds of raw materials, so what are the specific requirements?
1. It has different moisture requirements for different raw materials. Usually, the granulator requires that the moisture of raw materials should not be greater than 15 percent.
2. The granulator requires that the larger size of the raw material should not be larger than the diameter of the mold hole.
3. Raw materials should not be mixed with iron, stone and other hard materials, or it will damage the equipment.
4. High-quality granulation can be realized without additives in the raw materials. However, for the sake of the finished product rate and greatly extending the service life of the template, pressure roller and other wear parts, it is recommended to use the adhesive reasonably.
5. Try using soft wood chips as a raw material to make pellets. Many soft wood chips are easier to press, which can increase the molding rate.
6. The moisture content of the raw material for pressing sawdust pellets is between 8-12 percent. If the moisture content is too high, the pellets will become loose and easily broken during packaging and transportation. If the moisture content is too low, the pellets will be difficult to press, the molding rate of the pellets will be low, and there will be too much powdery material.
