Automatic feed puffing production line
A complete automatic feed puffing production line typically includes raw material pretreatment, mixing and stirring, puffing and forming, drying and cooling, spraying and packaging. The puffing machine is the most critical piece of equipment. It uses high temperature and high pressure to gelatinize the starch and denature the protein in the raw materials, ultimately forming a porous structure that not only improves palatability but also enhances digestibility and absorption.
The requirements for puffing aquatic feed are higher than those for ordinary pet food. Some manufacturers will adopt the "post-ripening" process, which is to add a low-temperature drying process after puffing to form a microporous structure on the surface of the particles. In this way, they can slowly absorb water and sink when fed, simulating the state of natural bait.
