Some manufacturers use the method of increasing the heat transfer oil temperature of the dryer to speed up the drying speed of bamboo particleboard. Or use a rotor dryer with heat transfer oil in and out at one end, and hot air blowing into the hollow main shaft at the other end. There is a main transmission device at the end where the high temperature heat transfer oil enters and exits. When it is exposed to high temperature, it is easy to deform, and it also bears the low speed and large torque of the entire transmission system, so the entire spindle is very prone to deformation, stress and fatigue resistance. The uniform phenomenon, the hollow spindle at the other end, also bears the corrosion of the gas, these factors are the main reasons that aggravate the fracture of the spindle.

To solve the problem of spindle fracture, it is necessary not only to operate in strict accordance with the instructions of the dryer in normal production work, and not to do some illegal operations, which will affect the service life of the wood dryer. In addition, we have to make improvements from the following points.
1. For dry materials with corrosive gas, a layer of sealed stainless steel should be used on the surface of the spindle to isolate the corrosive gas from the spindle.
2. In view of the uneven deformation and stress of the spindle, we suggest to change the way of the heat transfer oil in and out of the same end of the spindle as one end in and one end out. Keep the deformation stress uniform.
3. Increase the number of heat-conducting oil pipes of the dryer rotor to reduce the temperature of the heat-conducting oil, thereby improving the working environment of the spindle.
