During production, the twin-screw extruder needs to increase the extrusion degree (35%-45%), adjust the temperature to 140-160℃, and the pressure to 5-6MPa to extend the residence time of the material in the extrusion chamber, creating uniform pores within the particles and achieving a floating effect. Smaller particle sizes allow for a shorter buoyancy maintenance time (4-6 hours), while larger particle sizes allow for a longer buoyancy maintenance time of 6-8 hours, catering to the feeding rhythms of different fish species.
Specification 2: Sinking Fish Feed, Suitable for Bottom-Feeding Fish
The core specifications for sinking fish feed are: sinking rapidly to the bottom within 3-5 seconds of entering the water, and remaining intact for 6-10 hours after sinking. It is suitable for bottom-feeding fish (such as carp, crucian carp, and catfish), aligning with their bottom-feeding habits. The particle size range of the semi-sinking feed is 2mm-7mm, which can be flexibly adjusted according to the body size of the fish.
