The wood chipper is mainly composed of key components such as the feed port, crushing chamber, screen, and discharge port. Understanding the layout and function of these components is crucial for operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

 

When operating a wood chipper, follow these steps:
Make sure that lubricating oil is added to the engine.
Turn on the flameout switch and turn on the fuel switch on the carburetor.
Close the choke.
Put the hand throttle in the middle position.
Pull the starter rope hard until the engine starts.
After starting the machine, open the choke and increase the hand throttle to the maximum to start the crushing work.
After the work is completed, adjust the hand throttle to the minimum and turn off the flameout switch to turn off the machine.

Before each work, be sure to check the oil capacity. If it is below the scale line, it needs to be filled in time.
The oil should be replaced after every 50 hours of work. When changing, it needs to be done in a hot state. First, unscrew the drain screw to drain the oil, then return the drain screw, and add new oil to the oil filling port.
Before each work, clean the dust on the air filter. If the dust is too large, it needs to be replaced in time.
Before work every day, remember to add lubricating oil to the bearing to keep it running smoothly.
