Structure:
Drum chipper consists of body, knife roller, top and bottom feed mechanism, feeding device, hydraulic system and other parts.
The frame is made of high strength steel plate welding and become, is the support of the drum chipper basis;
The fly knives fixed on the roller, by special bolts which special designed for fly knives, according to the different thickness of raw material, the top feed mechanism could be adjusted automatic; the small chips drop through screen, the large size material will stay inside machine and get chipped again.
The hydraulic system designed to be refill by manual operation, so that the cover shell of machine could be opened, easier for user to replace the parts and knives, also convenient for adjusting the space between knives and dead knives.
The drum chipper is made up of body, knife roller, the upper and lower feed roller, conveyor belt, hydraulic system.The machine adopts high strength steel plate welded together, is the supporting basis of the whole machine. Install two or three, four throwing knives in the knife roller. Using the fly-knife bolt specially manufactured to fix these fly-knives on the knife roller through the pressure block.
According to different thickness of cutting materials, the upper feed roller can fluctuate within a certain range with the aid of hydraulic system. Qualified wood chips fall down through the sieve holes, and are discharged from the bottom; large wood chips will be cut within the machine.

Working Principle
Drum wood chipper is made up of six main parts: seat, cutter roller, upper and down feeding roller,
conveying device, hydraulic pressure system, electric control system etc.The wood logs go into feeder, when wood logs meet the blades, it will be cut by the high rotating speed of blade. The wood chips will be unloaded by the high speed airflow.
