Structure of Dry-Type Fish Feed Extruder

• Supporting Base & Frame: The lower end of the machine is provided with a heavy-duty steel base, which ensures vibration-free operation. The main motor (internal) is installed on the upper end of the base to provide core driving torque.

• Feeding & Storage Section: A Feed Hopper is installed on the upper-middle section of the machine for material storage. The upper end of the hopper is equipped with a dedicated Feed Motor, which is arranged to precisely control the raw material flow into the extrusion barrel via a frequency-regulated screw.

• Extrusion & Processing Box: The processing section features an Insulated Guard installed in the middle of the frame. Inside the guard, a built-in expansion heater is arranged around the screw barrel. This design enhances thermal efficiency and ensures the high-temperature environment required for starch gelatinization.

• Precision Cutting Assembly: The front end of the processing box is equipped with a Cutting Device. A Cutter Motor is installed on the left side of the cutting assembly to drive the rotating blades. As a key feature of the Carbon Steel Extruders, the Cutter Slide below the motor is mounted on guide rails, allowing the entire front-mounted assembly to slide back and forth for convenient die replacement and screw cleaning. Additionally, an Adjustment Handwheel is provided at the front-most position to micro-adjust the precision gap between the blades and the die plate.

• Integrated Control & Discharge System: For enhanced space efficiency, the Control Panel is directly integrated into the right-side surface of the machine body. This on-body interface design eliminates the need for an external control cabinet, simplifying wiring and reducing the equipment's overall footprint. Below the cutting device, an Outlet is arranged at an inclined angle to ensure that the finished floating pellets are discharged smoothly for the next processing stage.
